This has been my favorite pawn shop for years now. You never know what you will find when you walk in the door—from computers to cameras, stereos to snow shoes. Competitive prices and helpful, friendly staff. Christine in jewelry is amazing and very knowledgeable!

I recommend anyone that needs their wedding ring set repaired instead of remade/replaced as I was told by 2 jewelers to check out Ameripawn in Valparaiso. I was hesitant at first to have it done here, but I spoke to Jackie & she was great. I believe she truly knew how nervous I was about leaving my ring. I am very sentimental about my ring & did not want it to be remade. Jackie assured me she could fix the band & the prongs. Dropped it off on Thursday & was shocked when Jackie called on Friday. My ring was done! It looked beautiful, like new. Thank you Jackie, great job!

I buy coins here and sometimes other miscellaneous items. I had to pawn a few silver coins quite a while back and the amount of money they gave me for them was far better than any other place. Plus, the staff is very polite and they treat you like you want to be treated. My wife's engagement ring and her wedding ring are gold bands with diamonds across the top. She saw another band they had for sale, that would perfectly match what she already had. She texted me and asked me to buy it. I thought she was joking, but she wasn't. When I called about it, the lady told me she had the band set aside for me! I NEVER ever considered buying a ring from a pawn shop. I thought it was all used "junk," but now I know that that couldn't be further from the truth. It was a beautiful, high quality ring. It had to be sent out to be sized and was back in a couple of days. The jewelry "lady" gave me a GREAT price on it. She even put in a nice gift box for me. My wife was absolutely thrilled and the band looks very nice with the other rings. So if you're looking for quality jewelry at a very fair price, Ameripawn is definitely the place to go. That ring changed my entire perception about pawn shops!

I told Jackie that I'd give her 25 stars if I could!!! I needed my wedding rings sized up and my sister-in-law recommended AmeriPawn to me. I took my rings in on Friday, expecting to get a call in a week or two. Jackie had them ready to go by Monday. Not only did she do an awesome job with the sizing, but she re-dipped them for me as well! What a nice surprise!!! They are so beautiful and shiny again, AND they fit perfectly! Thank you so much, Jackie! You're the best. I'll definitely be visiting your place again.

I have noticed that some people have a bad opinion of "The Pawn Shop". I can only speak for myself when I say that this place has saved me on numerous occasions. Whether it's a couple bucks for gas or a few hundred for the NIPSCO bill, they have been there for me. I have also purchased multiple items from them. They have great deals on everything from video games to jewelry. I have a wife and five children and I'm not rich, so I dont have a savings, nor do I have well off friends and family members to turn too for help. Without places like this one, me and everyone else in my situation wouldn't have anywhere to turn to. Overall this place is great and so are the people working there. Thanks to all of you for everything you do for me and the community.

I was looking for a unique piece of jewelry for a friend in July and someone told me to go into this store and look at the jewelry-WOW they had a perfect gift. I purchased the piece and it was a huge hit. I came back for a Christmas gift and again found another great piece. Great service! Perfect items and quality pieces. I will make this my first stop when I look in the future-Thansk for taking time to help me. I highly reccomend.
